Introducing the Phil and Maryann Hoff Educators’ Impact Fund.

Working with the Milton High School Alumni Association, we’ve created The Phil and Maryann Hoff Educators’ Impact Fund, as a designated fund within the Association, to honor our parents’ legacy by helping to nurture and support educators who follow their lead—finding ways to put our kids first, so they can succeed. By establishing a designated fund, we can be sure that we are creating something that continues to live on for years to come in support of the Milton Area School District and its extraordinary educators.

The intent of the Educators’ Impact Fund is to award and assist our educators—who are often undervalued and/or could use additional support for going the extra distance. Our intent is to create a designated fund of the Milton High School Alumni Association honoring the legacy of our parents, that lives on, with annual fundraising efforts and annual awards.

The Milton High School Alumni Association will be working with us to ensure that the criteria for all awards not only serves the Association’s charitable purpose but also reflects Phil and Maryann’s high standards of excellence in education. As a starting point, we anticipate that there will be two primary possible focuses for awards from the Educator’s Impact Fund:

  1. An educator who sees a specific need and finds ways to address it and/or is making a direct impact on a student or students.

  2. An educator who has identified a special project that will help advance the needs of the students within the Milton Area School District.

Applications are specific to the Milton Area School District and will be made to the Milton High School Alumni Association. Applicants must be teachers, education support professionals, or coaches in the Milton Area School District. Applicants can be recommended/ nominated by others.
